What does a person feel when they get panic attacks?

if they are suffering from Social Phobia or Anxiety?

Increased autonomic nervous system activity (high blood pressure, heart rate, sweating etc)
Real need to get out of where ever they are
Some people also report that they feel like they are loosing control/going crazy/ think they are going to die

could be either. mine is from a little of both and I get very short of breath, my heart starts racing, my palms get sweaty, sometimes I will actually get sick and usually always get the runs. I also feel an overwhelming feeling that I am in danger. It is horrible to live with panic attacks, especially when you dont know what sets them off.

I’ve had panic attacks before and I can tell you it is one of the most painful and horrible experiences a person can go through. Someone having a panic attack can’t walk around and they can’t lay down, basically no position is comfortable and they feel like they’re going to die. Their heart races and extreme anxiety and worry is felt. Sometimes it is so scary and painful that they scream and hit or kick the wall.
