<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">To date, at the time of publishing this article, the exact cause of panic attacks is unknown. That&#8217;s right! There is no known precise cause or factor that triggers panic attacks. However, there are several theories contending that the disorder may be developed based on a complex interaction of a number of factors and experiences; genetic, biological, environmental and social.</span></p>

<br />I have experienced night attacks or panic attacks and it&#8217;s an awful feeling.  You can overcome this I did and it takes some time.</p>
<p>Breath in a paper bag for a few seconds until u feel yourself calming down.</p>
<p>You need to go to a therapist and talk about your fears.  You have some deep rooted fears that you haven&#8217;t been able to get over and it&#8217;s stuck in your subconscious.  </p>
<p>You might need to get some sleeping meds to help you rest.   Do you have a night light? That helps too.  </p>
<p>Go talk to a school counselor, or psychologist that can help you identify what the real issue is.</p>
<p>Right it down in a journal and keep track and see where the source is coming from.</p>

<p>I often get this. What cause it? Also , Is this dangerous?<br />
<br />That sounds pretty much like a panic attack . Generally they&#8217;re not dangerous so long as you try and keep calm (yeah, I know, its hard).</p>
<p>Its always worth having a check over with your doctor to make sure its nothing more serious though. I used to have panic attacks quite a lot, and one thing that i found really helped me was Bachs Rescue Remedy &#8211; you put a few drops on your tongue when you feel yourself starting to get stressed, and it calms you down . Its widely available , and pretty cheap too .</p>

<br />YES!!!</p>
<p>I take klonopin and prozac&#8230;&#8230;they have been life savers.  go see a psychiatrist, they know the meds, if they arent working, what to switch you to next, if need be.</p>
