my heart stars beating really fast and i feel like i have to cry and i have to walk away and calm myself down when someone tells me that because it scares me so much how many people believe in that sorta stuff, does this happen to you?

You are not a true atheist. A true atheist would not be afraid of ghosts or religion. The fact that you ares hows that you believe there is ghosts and religion and you are afraid you are not a member of the right group. Accept the fact that there may be some religions or even ghosts that you cannot explain and go on with your life. Otherwise you will be scared forever. The other alternative is to find out what you really believe and learn more about it. And do not let anyone tell you that religion or ghosts are scary. They are only scary if you do not understand them.
what should i do ?
Anxiety often manifests in different ways than you would expect – sudden unnecessary fears which cause physical reactions like cold sweat, racing heart, dizziness, etc.
A doctor can easily assess your symptoms and come up with a plan.
when my friends daughter knows it’s coming up to bed time. As far as she is aware she is not having nightmares but all of a sudden she has started sobbing when she has to go to bed and needs to sleep with her mum and dad. As she is 9 nearly 10my friend is getting really worried.
Sobbing is not a panic attack! That’s just acting out! A panic attack feels like death is near!!!
I really don’t know what kind of advise to give, besides just allowing her to sleep with the parents. She will probably get over it…..Unless there is a serious underlining issue?
I’ve never been able to express anger.
But lately when I get angry at someone or something my heart starts beating fast, I start sweating, and my hands start shaking.
Its not always anger.Sometimes it happens if I’m just talking to someone.
How can I fix this problem?

I started getting anxiety/panic attacks and depression bout month ago am 23 weeks preg now. They are awful – I can’t sleep properly and am afraid to go to bed as this is where I got my first panic attack. I am terrified of baby’s health both physically and mentally coz of them and am scared that I will have this anxiety etc forever. Does anyone think it might be normal preg worries made way worse by hormones and is there anything to do/take to ease these symptoms
My anxiety started during my pregnancy and continued afterward. Because I was breastfeeding I didn’t want to take any medication, but I needed to do something as it was really interfering with my life and making me feel terrible. If you want to read more of my story you can check out my blog.

if they are suffering from Social Phobia or Anxiety?
Increased autonomic nervous system activity (high blood pressure, heart rate, sweating etc)
Real need to get out of where ever they are
Some people also report that they feel like they are loosing control/going crazy/ think they are going to die
sessions for this but cannot really afford it now, does anyone know how i can teach myself new habits? or any thing else that might help?
I know all to well how you feel. People I don’t think really know how hard it is to stop the cycle. Its (for those who smoke) like quiting
smoking. My best advice and I deal with this daily too. Is when the urge comes on, sit down
stop what you are doing, and think to yourself
what is making me upset right and how can I deal with this now without putting food in my mouth. I used to binge of sugar foods, it was comfort for me, it made me "feel good." If the
urge doesn’t go away, and you have to eat something, and I know we all heard this before.
Eat fruit, carrots, popcorn with no salt or butter.
Or if possible take a walk. Find something to do right away. Its hard, if you need to talk please email me. You may fail a few times I know I did, but don’t like that bring you down. Just tell yourself, take time I will try harder.

I have experienced night attacks or panic attacks and it’s an awful feeling. You can overcome this I did and it takes some time.
Breath in a paper bag for a few seconds until u feel yourself calming down.
You need to go to a therapist and talk about your fears. You have some deep rooted fears that you haven’t been able to get over and it’s stuck in your subconscious.
You might need to get some sleeping meds to help you rest. Do you have a night light? That helps too.
Go talk to a school counselor, or psychologist that can help you identify what the real issue is.
Right it down in a journal and keep track and see where the source is coming from.

How do you calm your self down.
It used to happen to me. Go in a small room from time to time (even a bathroom!) and take a breather. Make sure to keep yourself mobile–move around. Find a friendly person or two to "break the ice" and chat with. Leave early too if you can!
