what is wrong with me? my heart is racing I am out of breath and have to stand up to calm down. I cannot seem to sleep at nightime anymore
I have experienced night attacks or panic attacks and it’s an awful feeling. You can overcome this I did and it takes some time.
Breath in a paper bag for a few seconds until u feel yourself calming down.
You need to go to a therapist and talk about your fears. You have some deep rooted fears that you haven’t been able to get over and it’s stuck in your subconscious.
You might need to get some sleeping meds to help you rest. Do you have a night light? That helps too.
Go talk to a school counselor, or psychologist that can help you identify what the real issue is.
Right it down in a journal and keep track and see where the source is coming from.

How do you calm your self down.
It used to happen to me. Go in a small room from time to time (even a bathroom!) and take a breather. Make sure to keep yourself mobile–move around. Find a friendly person or two to "break the ice" and chat with. Leave early too if you can!

Sometimes I have panic attacks when I take insulin. Reminds me of the time I accidentally took the wrong type of nearly killed myself on accident.
I am usually in bed when i feel a panic attack , I get up and try to find things to do that i have to think about .. Lately doing sudoku puzzles helped me. I also just pray sometimes to help me get on other thoughts ,this helps also. GOOD LUCK! hope you find a way to avoid them , they aren’t cool.
can you have panic attacks when you dont eat?
Yes, I have them occasionaly. Everytime I’m ready to eat and dinner is not ready I have a panic attack.

It all started when my Dr. changed my thyroid medication dose. I couldnt go no where, my blood pressure would go sky high. Now I can go places but I have to dose up on the xanax before I go. I need someone to help me. The Dr. wont and I have no insurance. Help Please!

Homeopathy – Here are some do’s and don’ts needed to remember that are required to prevent panic attack.
1. As with most medicines, keep homeopathic medicine in a cool dark place.
2. Don’t expose the remedy to strong scents or odors because its efficacy might diminish.
3. Avoid using facial cosmetics, lip balms, mint-flavored toothpaste and mouthwashes, and products with camphor.
4. Avoid drinking coffee because its essential oils might decrease the effectiveness of the remedy.
To treat anxiety, a dose of Gelsemium 6X every 15 to 20 minutes may help, but only up to a maximum of 4 doses. (Homeopathic cures classified as X have been diluted 1 to 10.) For worse cases of panic attacks, try a dose of 30C Aconite. (Homeopathic cures classified as C have been diluted 1 to 100.) Stop dosage when you begin to feel calmer.
i think its a panic attack. my heartbeat is normal and then out of the blue it starts beating so fast it makes me light headed and my vision goes slightly. It feels like what i think a heart attack would feel like. It lasts a couple of minutes and then it will stop almost as suddenly as it started.
It’s hard to understand and explain how you feel to anyone when that happens. I know it’s very frightening. I experienced it after my husband died and couldn’t even walk across the road to post a letter without having an attack. I think something just clicks inside which makes you feel unsafe,insecure maybe. I did overcome it without medical help so i guess it’s all in the mind and if i can do it so can you xx
